Objective: To make a model of the clock

Things We need: White card paper, pencil, compass, scissors, scale

Procedure:

1. Draw a big circle on the white card paper.

2. Cut the circle out of the paper. Write 1 to 12 at 11 12 1
equal distance on the circle. This is because the 10 2
face of the clock. 9 3

3. Cut two strips one short, one long. Cut each 8 4
strip at one end to make it pointed. 7 6 5

4. Fix the two strips at the centre of the circle

5. Rotate the strips to show different times on the clock face:

5 minutes past the hour

15 minutes (quarter) past the hour

half past the hour

quarter to the next hour

5 minutes to the nex hour
