Common and Proper Nouns
Nouns are naming words for people, animals, places and things.
Common Nouns
Common names of people, places, animals or things, of the same kind are
called common nouns.
For example– girl, car, bus, doctor, engineer, friend, etc.
Proper Nouns
Proper nouns are the special names of people, places, animals or things.
Proper nouns always begin with capital letters.
For example– Neelam, Ariz, Mumbai, Taj Mahal, Red Fort, etc.
