            PROPERTIES OF ADDITION

Property 1: Even changing the order of addends, their sum remains the same.
For example, add 3645 to 4788. Also 4788 to 3645.

                                  3 6 4 5 4 7 8 8

                            + 4 7 8 8 + 3 6 4 5

                                  8 4 3 3 8 4 3 3

                                          3645 + 4788 = 4788 + 3645

Property 2: Adding 0 to a number of a number to 0, we get the number itself.

            For example, 3467 + 0 = 3467

                                  0+3467 = 3467

Property 8: When three or more number are added together, their sum

remains the same even if their grouping are changed.
