When we multiply, we use the sign ‘ ’ and read it as ‘multiply ’.

Multiplication is also a repeated addition.

If we add the number ‘2’ five times, we get 10.
It is a repeated addition of the same number.

We can write it as : 2 ´ = 10

multiply any number.
Skip Counting
Skip counting on number line is an easy method to solve the
problems of multiplication.
Zero multiplied by any number gives the product ‘zero’.
