                           buy?

                   (b)     A tailor has 80 m thread. He uses 62 m 90 cm for stitching. How

                           much thread is left with him?

                   (c)     From a cloth of length 10 metre, Nancy took 7 m 50 cm for two

                           dresses. What is the length of the cloth left?

                   (d)     A tree was 15 m 40 cm tall. The upper part of the tree was broken by

                           strong wind. Remaining part of the tree is 13 m 80 cm. What is the
                           length of the broken part of the tree?
